Happy Valentines to all our Kennolyn couples; past, present, and future!
So far, 2021 has seen more couples than ever pick their venue and start planning for the big day; there is hope in the air that we will soon be able to get together for celebrations and Covid-19 has certainly not put the brakes on love! If our experience is anything to go by, this will be a bumper year for people getting married, and we couldn’t be happier.
Today, we’re featuring two lovebirds who recently booked their Hilltop Hacienda wedding for next summer. Here’s their story:
“Ally and I met each other four years ago at a bar in San Francisco after we had been texting a couple weeks through an online dating app (the millennial way of dating/meeting people).
From there we hit it off the very first time we met and had an amazing time. I gave her my jacket that night which she actually took home on “accident” just to make sure there was a follow up date. But there was no need for that as I really wanted to see her again.
I knew that there was definitely something special about her. We started dating and discovered that we both love traveling and being outdoors, especially in the mountains or at a beach. Tahoe has been a very special place for both of us as we go there quite a bit staying at my family’s cabin. We enjoy skiing, hiking, off roading in the jeep and hanging out on the beach in the summer. Ally’s family also has a place in Carlsbad which we love going to each summer as well.
The biggest thing that drew us to Kennolyn’s Hilltop Hacienda was that we got the best of both worlds; we have the redwood forest groves giving a mountain vibe and also the view of the ocean. It really gave us two of our most favorite places to be on our special day. We are extremely excited to have our wedding booked at Hilltop Hacienda and appreciate the help with making this happen. ”
