Our Elegant Estate
The Hilltop Hacienda Estate is adaptable for small or large weddings, and it offers elegant indoor spaces as well as expansive outdoor sites with sweeping views of the Monterey Bay. With this package, you can host a ceremony in the gardens or in the redwoods, throw an exquisite reception in our illuminated courtyard, and enjoy the morning of your wedding with your bridal party in Casa de Caldwell.
This venue is incredibly unique, with Spanish-style architecture, fountains, courtyards, an expansive lawn, and terraces that overlook the ocean. Our well-loved gardens and lush redwood forest backdrop offer radiant natural decoration, while you can also plan your event nestled into the trees in our wild but welcoming natural setting. This venue is a blank canvas until we start to bring your vision to life for a wedding, family party, corporate meeting, non-profit event, or other occasion you want to be truly special and memorable.
Inside the Hacienda
Our courtyard welcomes you and your guests with soft trumpet vines along the walls and a serene stone fountain in the center. Our indoor and outdoor spaces are equally adaptable for gathering, dining, meeting, or celebrating. We would love to discuss how your ideas can come to life in this setting.
As you step into the Hacienda’s long room, you’re greeted with a panoramic view of the mountains and the Monterey Bay through windows all around you. Guests can gather and enjoy the warmth of our fireplace lounge, a place of quiet and respite from lively activities.
By night, the terrace is filled, from corner to corner, with light and color. Your celebration can continue long after the sun sets over the water—as outdoor heaters warm the cool mountain air.
Weddings
There are two ceremony locations at Hilltop Hacienda: an expansive lawn overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and a smaller, more intimate space tucked into one of our most beautiful redwood groves. Each offers its own unique experience: one grand and luxurious, and the other rustic and picturesque, so it’s best to schedule a visit so that you can experience the magic of each firsthand.
